How Founders Law Led a £1.2M AI Seed Fundraising Round into Pallma AI

Backing the Next Wave of Venture Capital–Backed AI and Cybersecurity Innovation

As AI adoption accelerates across every industry, the attack surface also grows with it. Companies are shipping faster than ever, often without the AI governance or AI risk management frameworks needed to properly protect AI-driven systems. That’s where Pallma AI comes in. It helps organisations unlock the power of AI while still enabling secure AI deployment across complex, enterprise environments.

This is exactly the kind of problem we like getting behind.

At Founders Law, we love backing founders who are building category-defining technology, not just in theory, but in practical solutions that defend businesses and help them grow. Pallma AI stood out for its vision, technical strength and clear-eyed approach to one of the biggest challenges companies now face: securing AI systems properly.

— Tom Bohills, Founder at Founders Law

Why Pallma AI Stood Out to Venture Capital Investors

Pallma AI brings together a team with deep experience across artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and enterprise software. From our earliest conversations, it was clear they understood the real-world pressures businesses face when deploying AI, from regulation and compliance through to operational risk.

Rather than bolting security on later, Pallma is building its platform with enterprise AI security and governance baked in from day one. That clarity of thinking was a big reason we chose to lead this AI cybersecurity investment, alongside Marathon Ventures, and help Pallma secure not just funding, but a strong foundation for scaling an AI startup in the UK.

For the Pallma team, the seed round marked an important milestone both in validating the problem they’re solving and giving them the runway to execute.

This seed round is a pivotal moment for Pallma. It validates our vision and gives us the runway to accelerate development. With the support of Founders Law and Marathon Ventures, we’re building the foundation for enterprise-grade AI security that solves real-world problems.

The Role Founders Law Played in the Fundraising and Venture Capital Process

We worked closely with the Pallma AI team throughout the fundraising process, supporting everything from incorporation in the UK and liaising with Greek counsel to incorporate the Greek subsidiary, negotiating the investment terms, putting in place founder service agreements and closing the round. Our role was, and always is, to provide strategic hands-on legal support for startups, and our goal was to ensure Pallma AI was set up as a scalable, VC-backed AI company from day one.

It’s very much how we like to work: acting as strategic legal advisors to high-growth startups, especially those operating in fast-moving areas like AI and cybersecurity.

What the £1.2M AI Seed Fundraising Round Enables

The £1.2m seed funding puts Pallma AI in a strong position to:

• Accelerate development of its AI security platform
• Grow its engineering and commercial teams
• Start early enterprise deployments in regulated environments
• Build on its UK presence while laying the groundwork for international growth

For us, this investment reinforces a belief we hold strongly: the most successful AI startups in the UK will be the ones that take security, trust and governance seriously from the very beginning.

Looking Ahead for Venture Capital–Backed AI Companies

As we know, AI is changing how businesses operate, and quickly. But the companies that win will be the ones that can innovate safely and responsibly. Pallma AI is building essential infrastructure for cybersecurity for AI systems, and we’re excited to support them at this important stage of their journey.

We’re looking forward to working alongside the Pallma AI team as they scale, and to continuing to back founders building the next generation of resilient, responsible technology.
